Safeguarding Children with Disabilities – New E-Learning
Safeguarding children with disabilities is a priority for the Croydon Safeguarding Children Partnership. Amongst the aims of the group are to support professionals to be more confident when working with children with a disability and their family, and to improve understanding of the risk of harm for children with a disability and to embed strategies to reduce risk.
New Safeguarding Children with Disabilities e-learning course
Spotting the signs and understanding abuse of children can be difficult. For many practitioners, the indicators of abuse of a disabled child are often unrecognised or not accepted.
This is a Level 1 awareness raising course to help improve confidence and understanding of the risk of harm for children with disabilities.
