NSPCC Stay Safe Programme for Croydon KS1 and KS2 –

NSPCC have launched their Speak out. Stay safe  programme so that a generation of children have the knowledge and understanding they need to stay safe from abuse and neglect. The mission is to go to every primary school in the UK – and they’d love your school to be next.

With the help of our mascot Buddy, the programme provides child-friendly, interactive assemblies and workshops delivered by specially trained staff and volunteers to help children to understand abuse in all its forms and recognise the signs of abuse, know how to protect themselves from all forms of abuse and know how to get help, and the sources of help available to them, including our Childline service.

By the end of our visit we know that children feel empowered – knowing how they can speak out and stay safe.
