Focus Group – Help required from Asian-British 14-17 year old girls

Research shows that girls from Asian-British backgrounds do not access help for their mental health in Croydon.

Croydon’s Young Peoples Service and Croydon Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) want to understand the reasons for this and are looking for up to 8 girls who identify as Asian-British, to volunteer in a discussion group, to answer questions on this topic.

Girls will need to be:

  • Aged 8 years to 17 years, 11 months
  • Be able to speak English fluently
  • Both parents to identify as either: Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi, Sri Lankan, Sinhalese or Tamil.

This discussion group will take place on 17th January 2018 from 17:00pm – 18:00pm at the Croydon Council Building. Food will be provided during the discussion group.

There is also a chance to win a Love2Shop voucher worth £10 for taking part!

RSVP: Call Angella or Suraba on 020 3228 0000
